Are these people your friends. or are you surrounding yourself with as many people as possible in an effort to cover up your own insecurities. By calling everyone friend then you will give your trust out far too willingly and will risk getting hurt easily. However it is admirable you are prepared to give most people a chance in life. Just don't call everyone friend and treat people differently based on how much you trust them.

It depends. Some people just like people. Other people want everyone to be their friend because they need the approval.

well i try to be nice to everyone. even if they're not nice to me. no its not unusual to want to be friends with everyone, if everyone were friends the world would be a better place.

ummm...i think that it's impossible. i think friendship requires too much for this to be a possibility. a good way to wear yourself thin. i know someone who is like this and wants everyone to love him and he is one of the most self centered obnoxious people anyone knows...

We may not be able to be friends with everyone but we can be polite and respectful of them even though we are all different.
