In the first crusade, Christians killed tens of thousands of people they called "infidels". The Children's Crusade (1212) caused the deaths of nearly 50,000 children. beyond counting. It is not even possible to count the Christians killed by the Holy Roman Church. How to count the killings by other sects of the Christians. How many witches did the Puritans kill under Cotton Mather at Salem. Add up all the cotton Mathers and Salems. How many Catholics were Burnt by Queen Elizabeth 1 of England, or the deaths of the Huguenots. Then add in the Russian Church wars, the Sacking of Constantinople, the recent outbreaks like Ireland. Then we can start on the programs against the Jews, The Muslims, the "conversion" of the Indians of South America, Mexico, West Indies, America, and Canada. This would only be the barest of beginnings and you would be missing out on Bosnia, The Israeli supported Christian Phalangists in Lebanon slaughter of a refugee camp, etc, etc, etc.
Truly beyond any counting. Christ and the Black Plague are likely tied in their lethality.
and paul w has no Idea about history and christians. Hitler was Christian and supported by the church, Mussolini was a good Catholic and never could have ruled Italy if he was not supported by the church. I do not need to go on. All religions kill but jesus has a remarkable record.

Seems a very biased question, but here goes. I don't know but my guess is that it is the same in proportion with other religions (or lack thereof) of equally bloody histories. Christians are still just human and the path to righteousness isn't always an easy one, but back in the days of the crusades, there was definitely some wrongdoing by some crusaders, but that is the past. I'm pretty sure just about every religion old enough has had its share of bloody history.

None, absolutely zero.
You've been raised on false history.
Human beings have killed thousands in the name of Christianity but there is no evidence that Christ wanted it that way. Christianity hasn't killed a single soul, people are the killers. Did they proclaim to be Christian? Yes. Were there Christians who deplored the killings, Absolutely Yes. So, why do you determine the Christians who did the killings are the real Christians and not the Christians who did not kill?

Do you not know that Muslims killed tens of thousand when they took over the mIddle east and then moved into Spain and France? The so called Crusades were wars to regain what the Muslims had taken; we have no right to determine right or wrong of it.

Do you not know that in the 20th century 300 million people were killed by wars that had nothing to do with Christianity? nothing.
Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Tojo, Mao, Pol Pot, Amin, so on and so on.

You've got a lot to learn. I challenge you to get after it.
Best to you.

I don't that Christianity has murdered anyone or tortured anyone however there have been plenty of Christians that have tortured and murdered in the name of God. Too many to count although I believe that every one of those lives counted.

I'm not sure, a lot though, more than 7 and probably about as much as every other organized religion out there. Killiing in the name of God or religion has to be one of the stupidest things going...can you imagine, killing in the name of an opinion...it's madness!

Stop blaming Christianity for what satan did and still does.

Anyone who is not with God is against Him and is the child of the devil who does those things you said in your post.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Not all Christians murdered...not all believed what men would say.

Why don't you ask how many men (humans) have murdered? Just because someone killed in the name of God / Jesus...doesn't make them a Christian anymore then me standing in a garage calling myself a car, makes me a car.

You will know a tree by the fruit.

I know, not going to be a popular answer...but it's the truth!

Christianity never murdered anyone, nor did it torture anyone.Throughout history however, millions of people were killed for their beliefs. Many christians were killed, and many killed for the name of the lord,or at least the leaders of the church.
