What's your natural hair color? Red is on the lower end of the spectrum like blondes .
The darker colors add layers and the lighter ones strip away.
SO in this case, you might get professional help. Red is the most difficult color to get, keep and maintain. It fades faster than blondes.

professional color correction to strip the color without trashing your hair then re-color. this is super hard to do. You need a really good colorist. Find a salon that carries kerastase; they will have treatment to repair your hair

my hair is dyed black and i wanted red streaks the hairdresser seemed to think she could just put colour in and it would work it doesnt i need to have the black lifted then the red colour but on top. Definitly see a pro that you trust!

you can get a color lift and start over again. I suggest go to a pro. Ya never know what's gonna come out of those stroe brand ones.
