Some claim your predestined to God (Calvinism) while others say its our free will that decides (Arminianism).

I guess my question was too vague. I mean who chooses for eternal life ... salvation. I have always perceived 'God the father' as just that. Also that his promise was for anyone WILLING to pursue his truth. Calvinism has really thrown me a curve!

After studying the Bible, I believe that Calvin was wrong. Armenians teachings seems to coincide with Biblical teachings.

i believe you decide if you're going to heaven or mnot.
I think of it this way, God gave you a $1 trillion, and is saying you can have infinite money if you give $1 billion back, and of course suffer a little.

God dwells within you as you,this is fact. all sense of self seperate from GOD is illusion that we have to work through. YOU are GOD expressing his vision of himself.

We decide. Some aren't knowledged to do anything other than to accept, & it's sad really. I'm glad I did my research...
