I welcome any person to the U.S. as long as it is done legally. Do not sneak into my country and then demand all the rights citizens have. If you want to demand rights, demand them from your government!

I feel that if the life of an illegal immigrant in our country is better than the life being a legal citizen in another county, then I am glad I was born in the United States.
Lets be real...the life of an illegal immigrant...particularly central or south american in our country is one of working incredibly hard for pennies and doing the work that no one else wants to do to boot. Then the minimal pay you do earn goes to the landlord (who probably hired you in the first place) to pay for the less then beautiful place you struggle to call home each month. In the meantime, you are at the mercy of your community because you are useless to our elected officials, who could care less about whether your landlord fixes the serious mold problems, or whether you employer decides to pay you this week, which you can barely figure out whether that pay is coming, because you do not speak enough english to have a productive conversation with, and you can't quit, because...you need to provide a roof over your head and for your children who attend the public school inwhich services and help are a bare minimum, because, like I said...you have no say in it...and so on and so forth...
so, like I said, if this glamarous life is better than the one you left behind in your home country, then do your best to get away with it as long as you can...I would...and if anyone else would too!

That is far too small a number. Even Pew Hispanic Center estimates 11 million, and most estimate higher.

It's probably more like double that. I don't think I've seen an estimate under 10 million in a year.
I feel like we need to fix our immigration policy, and realize that our economy objectively needs these people. We should chage our laws in such a way as to allow for freer movement of labor, just like we've done for capital.

I think that estimate is very low. I've heard from 12million to 30million and I think I would go with the higher estimate of 30million. It's difficult to count, since they don't avail themselves to being counted. Now, I see that you say "illegal Mexicans." I'm thinking of the total count of ALL illegal immigrants in the USA. I think 30mil is a better bet.

Ask all the rich people in California and the southwest if they'd rather deport these people or have to pay US citizens for the jobs that these illegal immigrants are performing. That's a more legitimate question.

Thank Bush because he's opening up our borders to Mexico. It's called the North American Union and it eliminates America as a country.
The N.A.U will override our courts. American jobs will be handed over to Mexico including all importing and exporting. Then Mexican drivers will be the only ones who will drive these imports to there destination.
Bush sold us out, but don't take my word for it, you can read it in this REPUBLICAN CONSERVATIVE magazine. http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=14965

I'm a HECK of a lot less worried about that than the nincompoops who are running loose around our country trying to push so-called "intelligent design" into our childrens' classrooms and sex education out of those same classes...as a result, we will end up with an uneducated, backward population having unwanted babies and catching STDs; great!
