Be around girls for one. If you hang around girls and be yourself, then more chance of people to notice. Think about what attracts girls (or this girl) and if it is not so difficult for you (dont go too much out of your way, you will not be able to sustain it if you hook the girl) try to show the characteristics that girls find attractive. There are many, and not all girls are attracted by the same thing, but some common ones are:
being attractive - you cant really change this except having a good hair cut and wearing decent clothes.
being helpful and sensitive to other person's (and animal's) needs.
being happy (this is attractive)
being able to joke and make other people happy.
being comfortable with who you are and not trying too hard to land a (or this) girl.
Letting girls come to you. Its a bit like fishing. You go where there are fish. You hook with the tips above, and you wait until one of them bites. Unlike fishing, you nurture and take care of your catch, and not kill it :)

Nothing grabs a woman's attention like Brad Pitt good looks, but since your asking the question im assuming you dont have them. Confidence will carry you a long way. Many of my friends have gorgeous girlfriends and they got them by being confident in themselves, but you gotta be prepared to be shot down from time to time it comes with the territory.

Show that you're interested in her, approach her and talk to her, be confident, don't pretend to be someone you're not, give her the kind of smile you don't just give to just anyone, make her feel like she's a really important person.

Get into her head. Find out what she likes and dislikes. Don't rush into anything, and ALWAYS pay attention to what she is saying.

got to get her attention focused on you. after that you have to find out what her interests are. then find something of a common interest to you both, lastly treat her like she is special to you.
