Oh it's great! I love using the in season fruits...and arranging it so pretty. I love using kiwi, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, etc.
Fruit Pizza
Ingredients
1 (18-ounce) package refrigerated cookie dough
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or other flavoring (almond, orange, or lemon)
Fresh blueberries, banana slices, mandarin orange sections, seedless grapes, strawberry halves, kiwifruit (or any other fruit you want), well drained
1/2 cup orange, peach, or apricot preserves
1 tablespoon water
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line an ungreased 14-inch pizza pan with cookie dough cut in 1/8-inch slices, overlapping slightly. Bake 12 minutes or until light brown; remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract or other flavoring; spread over cookie crust. Arrange fruit over cream cheese layer in any design you want (use your imagination).
In a small saucepan over very low heat, make a glaze by heating preserves and water. Brush glaze over fruit, making sure to cover the fruit that will turn dark. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Yes it is. Especially when you used the sugar cookie crust. Just make sure you lemon the fruit that browns. A nice glaze over it sets it off.
spread rolled sugar dough in pizza pan like you would it crust. Bake by what it says on the canister. The when done, cool . Then place slice fruit over pizza and I top with peach glaze.

I use pillsbury crescent roll dough, Take it out of the can and unroll and place in a 13 x9 inch cake pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes then take out of the oven and cool. Then take 1 small pkg vanilla instant pudding mix and make as directed on box minus 1/2 cup milk. Stir mixed pudding with a 8 oz. package of cream cheese that has been softened at room temperature.. Spread this mixture across baked dough and chill for 1 hour.
Then after 1 hour take out of fridge and arrange sliced fruit in rows on top-peaches/nectarines, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kiwi's, bananas; drizzel melted white chocolate over this in thin ribbons, sprinkle fresh flaked coconut over this. Slice and serve, YUM!

you use sugar cookies (as the crust)
& cream cheese and sugar (as the sauce)
& you just dice up kiwis, strawberries, mandarins (any fruit that goes good with creamy stuff)...its really good! good luck!
*hope it turns out good*
