Having been a Christian, having been a Buddhist, and now being a follower of the Tao, I would suggest to you that I would choose to help her remain a Buddhist rather than convert to Christianity.
If you think all other religions are going to hell, then you are very limited. Her Uncle is not her, and his being a gangster has no bearing what so ever on your request.
Nor does his occupation have anything to do with her going to any kind of heaven.
Perhaps you should have an open mind and learn more about Buddhism before you try to convert her.. and if you drive her away with Christian dogma, you will have only yourself to blame. Respect for the beliefs of others is of paramount importance in social skills.. a skill you seem to need some help developing. Will you go to hell if you allow yourself to learn about her religion? (if you said yes then there is little hope of you ever finding friends or romance outside your own narrow religious experience.)

I'm Buddhist, and what does her family problems have to do with being Buddhist. Just help her organize her priorities, and although this hurts me, I must say that your friend needs to know what even Buddhism is all about because she is definitely giving it a bad name. Also, what does hell have to do with it. What does Christianity? You also need to prioritize your values. Everyone's equal. There's no reason to change a person's religion when all you have to do is change the person.

That's nice of you to not want her in hell, but she clearly has different beliefs and you need to do the thing God asked you to do - not judge. The thing with religions is no one knows they are right, that's why it's called faith. Let her have her own faith, and who knows, maybe there is no hell. I don't believe in hell by the way. It's a crap story christians made up to scare people to follow the religion. No religion at all is good enough for me.

Does she know Christianity exists? Does she know you are a Christian? Assuming the answer to those two questions are yes, leave her alone. She has the right to believe as she wishes. If you keep gnawing at her like a dog at a bone she won't be your friend much longer, and who could blame her.

The best way you can 'help' her to become a Christian is to be a shining example of what being a Christian is really all about. There really is no 'magical' way of making her become a Christian. You do not know she is going to Hell anyways. Only God can decide who goes and who stays.

She does sound like an ideal candidate to be a Christian. Just explain to her that she really won't have to change a thing but the word Buddhist to Christian.

Her problems sound like they require a good friend who listens, not a missionary who beats her over the head with Scripture.

it is not up to you to choose her faith for her. you can only lead by example and leave her alone to make her own choice...God gave us all free will, and that does include those in the world who have chosen NOT to be christian. just pray for her, if that helps you, but if you continually badger her about her beliefs, she'll quit coming around you. think it all the way through. good luck.

DId you ask her to attend your church? Have you given her testimony of your Christian life and the way your life was before you were a Christian? Explain to her that you don't want her to go to hell and that you'd like her to see your faith.... I'll pray for your friend...may God bless you and your friend
