Yes, John the beloved is still alive! Not here on earth however, he is alive with Christ in Heaven.
John 21:21 Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, "But Lord, what about this man?" 22 Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me." 23 Then this saying went out among the brothers that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?"
Philippians 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I am to live on in the flesh, this to me will mean fruit from my labor; and what I shall choose I do not know. 23 For I am hard pressed by the two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better.

Your Right, but where he is, no-one knows. But, "John the Beloved" is still among us. As for Enoch, yes him and his city were translated. One interesting point, it's possible that the tower of Babel was a pathetic attempt to reach the City of Enoch which they saw "floating" by. They were going to conquer it until the languages were mixed. the story of the tower speaks of a land mass in the sky floating around and could be heaven. which is also why many cultures today believe heaven is in the clouds. this is all just theory through, and has no baring is to if you or me go to "heaven".

When Jesus was talking to Peter he told him this, but didn't John write the book of Revelation? So he did in fact live to see the second coming that is what he was talking about when he was speaking with Peter. Enoch and Elijah will come back in the very near future as the two witnesses.
