Toshiba satellite pro 430CDT:Win98 When it boots up I can't get a full screen.error....PCI can't read conf.

Question

I don't know how to get into BIOs.The window that I can see is about 3/4 screen.All the rest of the screen is black.I have the start up screen with the start button,and task bar.with clockand all that stuff.But on the rest of the screen is black.about i inch all the way around. If you can help...thank you....I will give max points.

To access the BIOS, you can usually start the computer, then press F1 or F2 repeatedly until the system screen appears.
