Humera is a drug used for the treatment of RA, but the side effect is further deterioration of the joints making RA worse. Ah yes...another victim of the FDA's knee-jerk reactivity. They found a possible problem with LONG-TERM use of drugs like Bextra and Vioxx, so they pulled them off the market rather than allowing people to use them occasionally.
I assume you have already tried the over-the-counter NSAIDs like ibuprofen and naproxen? If not, give them a shot - cheap and easy to get anywhere.
