Nope I don't. If I truly love them I want to be with them myself. Because I believe they can not get a better GF than me if I love them the most and I feel I treat them good. If they want someone else then I'd rather think they do not love me back as much as I do, and I would tell myself that and find another guy to love, and then I would love him more.
If I truly love someone I do not "set them free" to be happier with someone else. Then they don't love me and my love meant nothing. That's how I see it. I see it like the love was like... "anulled". If he wanted someone else, were happier with someone else, then the love was for nothing. That's how it is to me at least. I do not stay in love with them the same if they leave.
I don't think love has to be unselfish to be true. I think there's a different kind of love. The love for friends and family is unselfish in most ways, but a lover is a special choice. You will want to be with them. And when you truly love them and know that you treated them well, how can you think they will have it better with someone else? If he leaves, then he didn't love you the same, how was that love true then? To me that love was never true to begin with.
True love lasts. True love doesn't end.
True love is mutual.

Well, if you're not with them, I hope you miss them. I married the first one that I didn't feel like I had to be with 24/7 to know he cares and loves me. The rest of my boyfriends were too smothering. If I was 15 minutes late getting home, I'd have 12 messages on my voice mail asking where I was. I can't live like that!

I completely agree with you 100%. The "have" to be with someone in order to truly love them is a crock...and a relationship breaker.

I agree with you. If you know someone very well, you can be in love with them even if that love isn't reciprocated. It's the most painful kind of love, but I believe it's possible.

i beliebe that if you try your hand and you realize that you can't show that person love like they deserve or want then , yes, let them try to find it on their own. Thatdoesn't mean that you can't be their support system and help tem on tehir quest. If you really mean what you say and you want them happy even if it means with out you then help them find love and ten be happy for them when they do find it.

yes and no,yes because if u luv someone u do want them to be happy, but what about the one who has to accept being with out you? its a sacrafice.you must luv yourself first.before u can luv someone else.do u luv yourself enough to not let your heart suffer?but i guess theres a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone.but thats my opinion(i been thru too much...lol)
