Pros: He buys me nice gifts, he does things for me (like came to court with me to fight a traffic ticket, was there for me when family members died, helped when I got into a car accident, very reliable), takes care of me, very chivalrous...
Cons: I don't know if he is a cheat, but I do know he 'eyes' other women while with me, he and I are polar opposites, he's got a lot of female friends.
I don't know what to do...but Ive gotta make some decision...I don't want to live my life like this

plz listen to me ok. i know alot of people are going to say negative to but listen. i completely understand what you are going thru cuz it happened to me. its not that you are insecure or that you just want to argue. this guy is totally being disrespectful to you. i know cuz i had a bf that did the nice things like you are talking about but at the same time was a lustfil jerk. what i did was leave him cuz he made me unhappy. did you talk to him about it? well i talked to my friend and he never changed. so if you have talked to him and he didnt stop it then you need to leave him cuz it only gets worse. you will always wonder if he does that to you while you are there, it makes you wonder what is he doing while you are not around. so if you explained this to him and he didnt stop that lustful action then leave cuz then not only would he have disrespeted you he would have disregarded your feelings also. no money and gifts can compare to how you feel and how someone treats you on a emotional level. good luck. i had to leave the jackass i was with.

Hi, first of all, you need to ask yourself how do you feel when you are with him? This is important for the decision that you going to make later. If the feeling is dull then you got to do something.
As for the pros that you mentioned, its is normal even in friendship as some guys/gals will go extra miles.
As for the cons, which guys/gals do not look at opposite sex. But most importantly is that he do not two-timed you.

don't be so suspicious! you don't know if he's cheating. but if he does eye other women, give him a taste of him own medicine. oogle other guys in a really obvious way, and when he calls you on it, throw it back at him. polar opposites? so what? female friends? so what? men with female friends tend to be more respectful, sensitive, appriciative of women.
