66% Of the world is NOT Christian. Does that mean 66% of the world is going to hell?

Currently, 33% of the worlds population are Christian, 21% practice Islam, 14% practice Hinduism, 6% Practice buddhism, and less than 1% practice Judaism. There are 22 recognized religions with over 500,000 members.

16% of the worlds population practice "No" formal religion.

So I ask, which religion has it right? Which "God" is the real god?

This is just my opinion but I don't think THE "God" is really into stats and percentages. I don't even believe THE God is what we define as religious. He is all spiritual and all knowing. You don't need to be of a certain "religion" to have a relationship with him. Don't get bogged down with numbers. The answers are within the deepest part of you. When you find that and know that then nothing else matters. All the "religions" you listed have more in common than you think. It's the commonality that is the truth and the spirit of God.

Perhaps they all are. If God is all powerful and can do all things, then different religions don't necessarily have to be mutually exclusive, do they?

Someone once told me that searching for the truth is like throwing rocks at a barn door. No one can miss it. But no one can hit all of it, either. What I find interesting is not the differences between religions, but what they have in common.

We do not know all of what God knows and we do not exist on the same spiritual plane with God. It may well be part of God's plan that the Christians are right, and the Moslems are right, and the Hindus are right, etc. etc. etc. We all can be right. We all can have a relationship with God that comes from the culture we are raised in, the point in history that we live in, and one that speaks best to our own, individual human experience. This is possible if that is God's will.

First of all, it is quite possible that 66% of the world's population may go to Hell, but, not for the reason that you just suggested.

If/when a soul is eternally lost, it is because of the complete & total wickedness of the person's heart, regardless of which ever religion that he/she practiced while on earth. And likewise, if/when a soul is Saved, it is because of the mercy of the person's heart, regardless of which ever religion that person practiced while on earth.

Where the Fullness of Truth of a particular religion comes in, is the God Whom the souls will be Eternally Present with, in Heaven. Example, if a devout Buddhist goes to Heaven, he/she will be worshipping Christ there, inspite of the fact that he/she was devoted to Buddha, while on earth.

Now, which religion do I believe is right? Well, I guess I sort of gave my answer away, already: I believe that Christianity is the right one & the One True God Is the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.

I would love a link posted to the site you got those numbers from.

Anyways, don't you think that GOD is GOD. Many religions believe in the same GOD, just not all the rest.

There is only one creator.

One GOD.

That is that. Call him by any name, he is one and the same no matter what. Christianity is followed on every continent. And no, 66% of the world is not going to hell.

Part of that is children, they do not go to hell.
If it is someone that is mentally retarded or something like that they will also not go to hell, they are seen in the eyes of GOD as children. The list goes on.

But, if you do not believe that Jesus is your lord and savior and he died for your sins, and live by the bible, well then , yes you will. It is written.

I think God is the root of Absolute Truth, and people are on this constant journey to attain this truth. That is why the same themes recurr in so many religions; the stories of the prophets, basic good and evil, afterlife etc. God is God; its how we perceive him in which we differ so much; we can only attain God's divinity through verbal description. I don't believe God has a physical form (Jesus, whom I think is only a prophet not son of God). In Islam anyone who believes in God and an afterlife and does good is qualified for heaven (Christians, Jews, Sabians etc.) but the only religion God will truly accept is Islam (a derivitive of Judaism and Christianity). God's word can be found in the Holy Quran and I recommend you read it sometime with a cleared mind and an open heart. Thanks for the question, sorry for the long answer, and God bless! :-D

i'm afraid that your notions of windfall are hindered by using the inexorable actuality that there is technology in the international. there is one in each of those concern as decision, and freedom is greater significant than faith. the concern that escapes your rehashed attempt at analogy is this: Marx mentioned faith replaced into opium to the persons. He never mentioned something approximately . Sartre, Camus and something of the Existentialist argue that guy invented God to describe the implacability of the universe. Your analogy breaks down in approaches like a wounded chimera: the two actual and imagined. You assume issues in life that have no foundation in fact. It in trouble-free terms demands that we obey and not think of leaving the main achieveable answer an apocryphal enigma without decision or analog. it form of feels that the only concern you decide directly to purpose to communicate is the religion of Islam. and you do no longer seem to have the braveness, know-how, nor the techniques to do even that. And regardless of if one is of the same opinion or disagrees is nonplussed in the face of this drivel you play as in question.

For starters, where did you get those statistics? I don't know whether they're right or not, but there's so many people in the world who don't have any contact outside their tribes, it's almost impossible to measure.

In my opinion, being a Christian, our God-the Trinity--Father, Holy Spirit, Son--, is the one true God, and therefore the only way to heaven.

Yes, just like Christians do and Christ went to hell when he died. Of course, there is not word in the oldest Biblical scrolls that translates as Hell or Hell Fire. As for non-christian religions, it fully depends on whether as individuals that they have been given the opportunity to learn about Christ by the time Armageddon takes place. As for those who have already died, they are sleeping in the grave, just as Christ did for three days, unable to do anything, until the second resurrection, when everyone gets raised to either everlasting life on earth or to judgment.

in Islam we believe that TRUE believers in islam, Judaism, and Christianity, joined with some exceptions, go to heaven. And the rest...Well, they're not going anywhere they're going to enjoy themselves.

Quote:
| There is only God, of the bible |
THis is a big problem, ppl think they are the only ppl who have the right religion.
