when the two agree to see no one but each other. time has nothing to do with it. if you can't even talk to each other and say hey, let be exclusive, then you might want to start there. most guys with keep dating others until they know they are in a true relationship.

A serious relationship usually a few things for one a goal that both people are working towards, like marraige, or moving in together, there is something that the two are working on together, in that vein also the two involved in the relationship share more than bodily fluids, for example religions, ideaologies, vehicles, a home, bills, children, the more things that are shared the more layers the relationship has, the more serious it is, which bears witness when it is time to break up, you can't just walk away, you have move stuff, rent moving vans, come to thier place and get you stuff, change your daily schedule.

what i think is it is all on the person.cause if you think about it ever one falls in love or has feelings for some one at diffrent times.there is not one person that is like oh it has been 4 months or even a year and is like this is a serious relationship.there is really no answer cause like i said ever one is diffrent and have one has diffrent feelings some may think be in a 2month relationship is serious and others may think 2 years may be serious.i really think it is on the person and on the way they feel in there heart.

For me it would be where both sides want a relationship with no one night flings or head games (I so much hate them!) there has to be trust and respect to eachother and agree to work out disagreements together peacefully and try to stay together and work towards that

its serious when you can say to yourself "this is the one", if you cant say that to yourself, then its not serious enough.
