I dream of being free from my baggage. Of being a mom one day (we plan to adopt through foster care). Of finally finishing school. Of one day being reunited with the babies I lost.

I really wish I had a more vivid dream life. Unfortunately, I find that the only time I can remember a dream is if I am awakened during it. Upon examination, I find my dreams to be a medly of things that happend in my life in the past day or so. Some of them are obscure things that I wouldnt have otherwise remembered, and they somehow fit themselves into a story like sequence. Weird. Anyhoo, since I cant tell you about my literal sleep dreams, I shall share a couple dreams of the goal type.
-To be successful in my business
-To see my daughter and future children grow up to be happy and a positive addition to society
-To have a long and happy marriage with my husband, and for our love to continue to grow deeper
-To enjoy and raise more children. Adopt if for some reason we are unable to conceive again.

And the wonderful thing about dreams of this sort, I know they are going to come true, because I believe they will, and believe I deserve it.

Poo on the people who questioned your reason for this question, its a wonderful chance for people to examine themselves and open up and share wonderful and perhaps bizarre thoughts. Their loss for passing it up.

Well I have a lot of dreams about boys. Lol last night I had a dream that this guy I liked got dread locks and it made him look even hotter. But I normally have dreams about what's going to happen next week or tomorrow. Some times they come true. Like I'm going to have some pop quiz, and it really happends. Freaky, isn't?

Okay, I would be interested to know if anyone has had this particular dream. My family thinks I'm nuts.

I'm walking and all of a sudden my teeth start falling out and start running to catch them before they hit the ground.

By the way, I'm assuming you mean dreams as in while I'm asleep not the future goals type thing?

My dreams are different depending on what I thought about that night. If I was to be on the phone with an ex of mine I would probably have a dream about that ex having a girlfriend.or if I was to be watching an acion move,I would have a dream where im moving to scene to scene. If I was to have thought about a problem in my life it would probably turn up in my dream somewhere.Last nite I had a dream about this old woman killing young children and drinking there blood and I was trying to save me and my sister and when I was running... I woke up.

I dreamt that I was walking to a barn in a farm.
It was day and quiet.
Then I noticed that the barn was black.
The edges were silver, like you might notice on some Bibles.
I was a new Christian.
(I had heard from an old guy not long before, he warned me to stay away from the Bible. That It would drive me crazy.)
Not so I thought.
If it was true, then everything about life sprang from what God did.
And Jesus was more powerful than any demon.
There were stories in the Gospels about that.
They knew who he was, recognized him on sight.
When he said to flee, they fled.
So to the barn I went.
I opened the large barn door, and closed it behind myself.
The barn was mostly empty, and there were pieces of hay on the ground.
Against the far right corner of the barn was a swing.
The swing was supported by two ropes that were not very long, so the swing was well above the ground.
There wasn't anybody on the swing.
Yet it swung back and forth, as if there was not only someone on the swing, but they knew how to keep it going; it was strongly swinging.
I looked closer, to see if there were any wires, or in the unlit barn that there might by someone on it, I just couldn't see them.
But, I could see no one on the swinging swing.
Something caught my attention on the dirty floor of the barn.
There were two little girls on the floor, playing with something, I couldn't tell what it was.
But when they looked up I could clearly see that they had the faces of demons.
Their eyes were strange and clouded.
The grins on their faces were as a sick person might have.
Not so much a smile of humor, but rather of maliciousness.
The rope on the swing made a creaking noise and grew louder.
I looked back up in the direction of the swing.
Now there was a little girl on on the swing.
She was affilcted as were the two little girls on the floor.
She, like the other girls had a face of demonic possession.
They all began to laugh.
As if they were mocking me.
I'm not sure if I walked out of the barn then, or that I just ended up outside.
But I walked towards the porch of the run down house that was there.
There, on the porch was a rocking chair, and on it was a woman, and either the same demonic children or some other ones, it was hard to tell.
The woman was also demonic.
I think she was knitting or sewing.
The next thing I knew is that they were surrounding me.
I only knew that I could not runaway, and that it seemed instantaneous that they did surround me.
It was at this point that I became aware that I was dreaming.
So I merely tried to wake myself away from the dream.
It didn't work.
I knew the house that I was asleep in, the bed that I was sleeping in, the position that my body was sleeping in, but I could not, with my greatest efforts, wake up.
If I was not afraid before, now I was afraid.
I was aware of their voices, all around me.
Their voices caused me to stop trying to wake up, and pay attention to what was going on in the dream.
As I said before, they had me surrounded.
I knew instinctively that running was not an option.
I also knew instinctively that God was the ONLY chance I had from being possessed by one or more of these demons.
Some people might try to run or fight if put into this position. The thing that I knew is that I could not win, that even in a dream, they in reality, had power over me.
The one they have no power against was Jesus, the literal Word of God, whose words were a binding contract to the powers of evil.
That if rightly divided, and said with faith, there could be no power that they could muster to get me.
So my reaction was to kneel in my dream.
And begin pleading to God.
Instantly, like it did in times before, God's spirit rushed through me, it felt both strengthening and cleansing in a way.
The words that came from my mouth were the words that I have read in the Bible, "Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world."
" Blessed is the name of the Lord."
" Forever oh Lord, thy word is settled in heaven."
There may have been more.
But the demons began to speak differently.
I started to overhear them as I quoted scripture.
I think that what they were saying before was everything that I have ever done that would embarrass me, or cause me shame.
But now, they also began to quote the Bible, only what they were doing is twisting it, so that it sounded stupid, and powerless.
It was as if they had the intent to throw me off, to cause me to stumble and get flustered.
Whatever they could do to stop me from uttering the word of God.
In an instant, they were gone.
I became aware that not only the demons had disappeared, but the barnyard scene also.
I was left alone in a grey landscape with no horizon and no ground.
I was not falling, but still retained my crouch in a prayers position.
I willfully uttered a last prayer, that God would help me wake up.
I became aware that I could make an effort to breathe myself awake.
So while in the dream. I began to attempt to hyper ventilate.
I was aware that my body was not following the breathing pattern that I was making in the dream.
So I tried even harder.
Eventually, my body began to respond.
It was working.
But the breathing alone still wouldn't do it.
So while still unable to make my body to wake up, I began to yell, scream, any noise that I felt I would just have to wake myself up with.
Then it happened.
I could hear my voice in the real world, moaning.
I continued the effort in my dreamstate and eventually woke up.

There was no fiction here.
This experience is a true story.

I am going to interpret your question to mean dreams as in life goals or aspirations, and not as subconcious thoughts produced by sleep.

I have dreams of building a No-kill animal shelter, funded by charity, donations and fundraisers. I want to re-habilitate abused and neglected dogs/cats and train unruly ones and find good homes for all that I can and keep the ones who are too damaged to be rehomed instead of euthanising them, it's not thier fault they turned out that way ...abuse does things to the mind. I want to use the shelter to educate the next generation of humans to love, respect, understand and protect animals. I would offer to co-op for the local highschool and speak about the care and humane treatment of companion animals at grade schools. Anything to teach people about animals and how important it is to care for them properly and protect them from abuse. I would give free training lessons (donate if you want) for dogs/cats and thier caretakers and help people better understand how to communicate with thier pet. Basically my dream is to be able to give homes to unwanted animals and help educate people in the hopes of reducing the number of unwanted animals in the future.
