Ok, I love vinegar on my fries, but the problem is that where I used to eat them that way was at a fair, and I am a very long way from where the fair is held(It is in PA and I am now in TX). I have no idea what vinegar he would set out to put on the fries. So my question is, what's the best vinegar to put on fries?

I love french fries, especially the shoestring kind (really skinny ones). I do not eat them with vinegar, and haven't heard of anyone eating them that way.....sounds kinda gross. But anyway, I'll take a guess and say to put apple cider vinegar on them. People use it for marinades in their meats. My own preference on fries is seasoned salt, cheese, ketchup, or barbecue sauce.

anyone and everyone i know loves french fries. Here in europe there are tons of people who put vinegar on thier fries (not to my taste though). here mostly they use malt vinegar. I think the best thing to dip fries into is sweet and sour sauce, its great especially if you are having them with chicken.
