No, because I know what "Gehenna" is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gehenna --- once you know the story behind the origin of "hell", you know it is based on a real place on Earth, but IS a myth.

Just for a moment think of it this way, Miss Toe.

Wow. If you were a toe a part of the body of Jesus Christ, you would not have to type questions like this. You would already know the answer.

Well, guess what Miss Toe? All mature Christians know the answer being that they are part of the Body of Christ.

There is no firery hell of Christianity. However, God is a consuming fire that on the arrival of Jesus Christ will burn all the rudiments till they be gone. All the evil in the world.

There is a place called the Lake of Fire that is reserved for Satan, the anti-christ, and the false prophet. This is where the soul is killed. Just like a drop of fat in the fire its turned to smoke and is gone from all minds like they never happened.

All souls that reject God go there as well. Think about it and then go read your Bible for validation.><>

NO the reason why is that what the Bible says it is and what some churches say it is is very different ie the Bible uses fire " Symbolically to represent cleansing and destruction " now the bible says in Romans 6:7 " He who has died has been acquitted from his sins". and in 6:23 it says " for the wages sin pays is death but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ jesus our Lord". and Rev 20 :14 says "and death and hades were hurled into the lake of fire this MEANS THE SECOND DEATH THE LAKE OF FIRE". meaning death and the grave which is what the word means translated from the Greek hades or the Hebrew word Sheol or why would Job pray to go there to escape his pains Job 14 : 13 or why was Jesus there in Acts 2; 31,32 we do know Jesus was in the grave or sheol ,hades or hell for 3 days untill his resurection by his Father thats why I and millions of other Christians dont believe in a fiery hell Gorbalizer

Yes, most definitely. That is just part of my faith. I believe that the key to salvation is in believing in Jesus and repenting in our sins so that we may spend the afterlife in a better place. Yes, if you do not believe, you will burn, but the choice is entirely up to you, salvation or not. The right path is never an easy one, Jesus was beaten and crucified, and we Christians will always be mocked and ridiculed for our beliefs and as for most of us, we can take it.

No, as there is not word that translates as Hell or Hell Fire in the oldest scrolls held by the Vatican. When ones die they go to the grave, waiting to be raised in either the first or second resurrection.

No.

I believe the mind and our conciousness is equivilant to our brain. Our brain is the reason we perceive reality, and when our brain dies, our perception of reality is erased from existance.

The fiery hell of christianity is without a doubt a human construct. It was created by men, by human ideas, philosophies and minds. It is evident that regardless what happens when we die, our perceptions of it should not involve expecting it to have been predicted by the mere ideas of men-animals-monkeys-microorganisms-atoms-elementrary particles-energy.

Christianity is part of it but not all of it. Muslims believe in HELL. HELL is for those who continuely live in sin and reject God like Yourself.

Why take the chance when Jesus offers a "Get out of Hell free" card?
