"Man has three qualities: sathwa (purity, serenity), rajas (passion, excitedness), and thamas (indolence, inertia). We have to preserve the sathwic quality. A person of evil thoughts will see evil everywhere. A person of good thoughts will see good everywhere. However, a person with no thoughts at all will become a full man. That person is eternal and peaceful.
A cloth is made of threads woven into warp and woof. From where did the thread called karmaphala (the fruit of one's actions) come? It has come from the cotton of janmanthara samskaras (the vasanas or tendencies acquired from several previous births). A thread is made out of cotton and woven into a cloth. And that cloth is worn by us. The cloth called the human body that we are wearing is a gift of God."

I don't know about all that. A man is body, soul and spirit. And the Bible says:
Titus 1:15 All things indeed are pure to the pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience have been defiled. 16 They profess to know God, but in their works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
It also quotes Jesus as saying:
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
And finally it warns:
Colossians 2:6 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7 having been rooted and built up in Him and being established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. 8 Beware lest anyone captures you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are completed in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

I don't know if I'd agree that a person with no thoughts will become a full man. There is a difference between no thought and no desire. Is the ant more sacred than the cat simply because the ant "thinks" less?
I would agree that we see ourselves in the world. As John Milton's Satan says, "I myself am hell."
The body is maya. "Warp and woof" (and thread, and cotton and cloth) imply a distinction that ultimately does not exist.

Not actually. What you've said are the norms. In reality, everyone is capable of seeing both good and evil. A person with no thoughts literally is not human at all.

But sometimes we 'see" what we want to see and that does not mean it is the good we think we see, or the bad we think we see-
There is an old saying-you get what you pay for-conversly-you see what you want to see,i.e. good in a person who mistreats you. Battered wives who will not leave the abuser comes to mind. Thinking they are good, they just have a small problem, does not negate the truth that they are mean, evil and manipulative. Another old saying"love is blind"- marlyne B

Accept the fact that these mythologies are just that and try to save yourself from the gurus. The peace does not come from any mythology but from within. The good comes when you free yourself from the priests, shamans and gurus. Good thoughts are free thoughts.

It's also called the Law of Attraction. We call that which we seek to ourselves. Try to get a hold of a documentary called "The Secret". I think it was on Google Videos at one time.

Well told. Maybe people think that they're good or evil based on their mood, but their views are a reflection of how they perceive the world.

This is not true. I think about my wild orgies all the time, but everywhere I go people have their clothes on. What a bummer.
