found bottle with 1492 B with circle around it O under B and | on the side.Can n e 1 tell me what kind bottle?

It's just a bottle with an old rusted metal screw cap. With some clear syrupy liquid in the bottom of it...old is my guess cuz I opened the bottle and it smells like crayons. (Melted) Can't seem to find out what it was though....Wish I had a picture.

Think was was a B and O wine at one time. Does it look like a wine bottle?
