Head and Shoulders made my dandruff worse - I was allergic to some of the ingredients. A 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water (about 1/2 a cup of each) inbetween shampoo and conditioner made my dandruff go away.

I would definetly recommed doing a hot oil treatment- it costs like 4 bucks at a local drugstore- heat the oil tube in a tub of hot water, then apply to wet hair after a shower, wrap your head in a towel for about 5-10 min then rinse it out. Not only will it help with dandruff, it will make your hair look absolutely gorgeous!! Trust me, been there, done that!

What is you have? Little white flakes? That is not dandruff. Dandruff is a fungal infection. It is thick, yellow chunks. Little flakes could be many things, product build up, dry skin, or natural shedding. We shed out skin every 28 days. brush your scalp well before washing to loosen debris, scrub the scalp well and rinse well.

selson blue Tgel from neutragena and use a really good conditioner probably one from your hairdresser they dont contain waxes and such that actually dries out your hair.... massage the conditioner in your scalp leave on for about three to five minutes and do this twice a week. Also I know this is going to sound really gross.... try not washing your hair everyday... cut it down to about everyother day. Exessive washing strips the moisture out of your hair. Thus causing dandruff and lice believe it or not.

I had dandruff as a kid also...I think I was just not rinsing the soap out enough...plus i did not shampoo that much.

Or you could try a little oil maybe...it might make the dandruff stuff stick your scalp.

but best to wash wash wash and rinse rinse rinse

Yeah, try Selsun. It got rid of my itchy scalp and dandruff after two washes! Use a conditioner or hair mask after that though, coz it does dry your hair out.

While some hair fall daily is natural, stress, hairstyle products and lack of nutrition can cause excessive hair fall as listed at http://tinyurl.com/kshvn . By changing your lifestyle and using herbal remedies, you can reduce hair loss and dandruff. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/py7z4 .
