Hmmm . . . you're worrying too much about it for one thing. Try asking her a question! That will certainly get some sort of conversation going. It helps if you actually need help with something. Or you could pretend to be taking a survey. You need a combination of luck and talent to pull that off though. And learn to crack jokes at everything you hear. No put-downs or lewd jokes! That should get you started. Now, you also need to learn when to exit the conversation. It is best to leave when things are looking up. Don't wait until you run out of things to say, just leave! That will leave a good impression and leave them wanting more. Get the phone number before you leave though, and make a short phone call a few days later to set up a date. Good luck!

I know this might sound silly .but you should practice. Developing people skills is a problem a lot of people have( You are not the only one). Before talking to a girl, prepare in your mind what you are going to say. Also, try finding a common interest between you two because once you do, she can contribute to the conversation. Good luck!!

I think we've all felt this way one time or another. As corny as this sounds, practice a conversation with the crush. Practice till you feel confident. Think of many different things you can say. Then go back to that in the moment.

Girls don't always know what to say to a guy either... Ask a girl what she likes to do what type of guys she likes, what she does for fun things like that are good openers for conversations

There are many sites on dating and usually the first question is how do you ask someone out, or how do you get someone to "notice" you. Many people resort to "Lines". Here are some of the funniest ways people have asked people out in Church.
At the bottom I will reveal the embarrassing details of how I asked MY wife out. (Don’t cheat read them all)
* Nice Bible
* You know Jesus?! Me, too!
* God told me to come talk to you.
* I know a church where we could go and talk.
* How about a hug, sister?

Just try to tell yourself that's it's one of your friends or someone you normally just hang with. It's not easy but you CAN teach yourself to talk to her like she's just another friend. Just treat her like you would one of your guy friend, without the burping and farting, lol :)

probably should find out what her interests are, maybe from a friend and then you can ask questions that interest her. At least then maybe it wouldn't feel like stupid questions.
