Some loser will post an inflammatory question designed to "tear down" your faith tonight. Usually of the following "If Jesus and paul were celibate, does that mean they wanted the whole human race to go extinct?"
Many questions that are derived from ignorance and put forth in derision.
Well, ask me what you will and confuse what you like. The bible says "Seek and ye shall find." Therefore if you look for reasons not to believe, you will find them.
I am happy in my faith and my personal walk with God. I ask nothing from them. So why must they hate faith so much? Why so many random taunts against our faith from those who know nothing of it save the paradoxes answered with prayer?
Why can't you just not believe and go about your business? Why challenge US because you yourself struggle with your non-belief? It's not my business, is it?
I'm happy with God.

Edit: And MIchael, I'm a veterinarian. the understanding of science is my work and passion. Yet I reconcile that with God. Not all Christians are ignorant book-burners, so my question still stands.

Edit: Shazaaye, you again turn the question against Christians. "Jesus and the Apostles never said to condemn other people for their beliefs and not once in the new testament can you find them persecuting other faiths" You said. I do not require anyone to convert to my belief. I only want to live in peace, and you like many others have taken your frustrations out on christians. Basically, though you know so much about our faith, clearly, why do you care if anyone misrepresents it? So what if many christians are 'hypocrites'? (Wasn't Oscar Schindler a hypocrite? He pretended to be a nazi by word and yet he saved jews.)
Hypocracy is a human failing. I can forgive it in non-christians villifying something that they don't EVEN BELIEVE. Apparently it's too much to ask for them to forgive US for even trying to do better.
So the question still stands. Why do non-christians care enough to taunt? If you don't believe, then go about your business. Peace out.

because most people who are "Christian" on here are really fundamentalist cultists who just walk into it. When someone blathers on about something they have absolutely no knowledge about except what their "preacher" tells them, I just have to make fun of them. And I actually am sort of a christian, I believe in God and that Jesus was his son, but don't believe in all this religious garbage that goes with belonging to a "church"

Do you think of that Atheist are unfastened to ask all styles of derogatory questions yet Christians are meant to be proper gents and ladies? I have answered but one question that was like this and it had to do with where Christians questions go when they are disproven. I answered it because 1. I wanted to give the funny response "I think they send them to comadycenteral" and 2. the Asker was gorgeous.
I did post a joke question asking if satanists were really people who ran around saying "Tan." to try to lighten people up a bit.
Other then that I have honestly answered questions in relation to Christianity from my heart and by the authority of your God. If you read my posts you will find that i am well versed in your religion and have studied it extensively. As I've pointed out I believe in Jesus, I just don't believe in Christianity.
You need to talk to those persons on this forum who claim the Christian faith and explain to them that people picking on them has nothing to do with them being Christian. What it has to do with is their bad testimony for Christ.
Jesus and the Apostles never said to condemn other people for their beliefs and not once in the new testament can you find them persecuting other faiths. In fact if you read very closely you will find that Jesus and the Apostles were very accepting of others religions. Check out Acts 17 and 19. In Galatians Paul even make parallel references to Wotan (Odin) and the well of Mimir.
In essence I see few of you who are not trying to tear down other peoples faith. If some one asks a question in relation to another religion someone claiming to be Christian Never fails to try to convert them by tearing their beliefs down. Is that the way of Christ? NO!!!
What fools are you as to be so blind and hypocritical as to not be able to see the unrighteousness of your ways?!!! Do you not know that it has been written "You shall know them by their fruits?!!!" How the can you not determine your walk for Christ by the fruits you reap?!! For is it not also Written "You shall reap what you sew?!!!"
I have not mocked your religion, yet you have come to me in self righteousness and mocked mine; and it is because of your blasphemies that Christ has left you open to the missiles of Satan that you should feel despair and ask "why?" Repent therefore your sin and know that your strongest testimony for Christ is by the way you live not by the things you say. For it is written "Not everyone who calls me Lord will enter my father's Kingdom."
Look in the archives of my answers and test what is written there by the Spirit of the Lord. Take these words and tell them to your fellow Christians: For because they don't show the signs of an Apostle is why they are called false and faithless ("blind faith"). And know true that the letter of the Law brings death but the Spirit of the Law Brings life.
No, I am not a Christian, but I talk to your God and It seams that I who am Pagan have a better relationship with him then most of you.
"Seek and ye shall find; knock and the door shall be open."

All christian and atheist questions just need to be turned around and you get your answer...
Why do some christians feel the need to try to convert me? If you have such little faith you need to convince others, then perhaps you need to go and read the bible.. Im happy being a non believer..
There are as many "stupid" questions coming from christians as there is coming from atheists...

I have been an atheist for 30 years. I do not go out looking for debates or arguments against religious people. I dont wear a sign around my neck that says I DONT BELIEVE IN GOD! I dont make it a point to tell everyone I meet what I believe or dont believe. I really only divulge my beliefs when someone asks me what they are. (and here is where your question comes in) When I do tell religious people that I am an atheist it is like I am the lowest form of life on Earth. These people talk to me in ways that just amaze me. They tell me I am wrong, that I will go to hell for not believing. I am treated as an outcast. These are usually Christian people, who are supposed to be forgiving, and full of kindness and love for their fellow man and yet they treat me like dirt because I dont believe what they believe. I dont bad mouth their religion. I dont "blaspheme" their god. I just tell them I dont
believe and I get s*** upon. So, the atheist are defensive and probably are defending themselves by attacking the people who attacked them first. Try it. Tell a Christian you dont believe. See what kind of reaction you get. You will understand why atheists have to use what we can to defend our opinions

How does someone who talks to invisible beings and believes the rest of the world will burn eternally in a lake of fire call themself sane?
For the record, I don't struggle with my non-belief. I struggle with believers indoctrinating our youth with nonsense and expending efforts to prevent or slow the discovery of Science.
