God told me you had a question that needed answering

I came for the same reason. I like to help to answer the questions others might have of my faith and belief as a Christian. I do also like to pose any question that I think might get someone to consider Christianity or that would make them think and research their own beliefs as well.

I must say, that is what this section is for. I don't know why so many have to be so rude. And yes, that includes some of the Christians answering as well. If I have been ever, forgive me please, I don't mean to be.

I have a passion for spirituality and Hinduism. I've read hundreds of books on spirituality for 18 years, so I quite understand the concepts in it. I enjoy sharing that knowledge and help educating people reducing ignorance that goes rampant in this section.

I'm an Hindu as of about one year.

I initially came because I was intrigued by a news item I'd read, and wanted to ask peoples' opinions about it. Being Pagan, I also feel that our faiths need defending and that those who are interested in them deserve decent information. Since Halloween, the silly season, is coming up, I'm really feeling that need now. Sometimes it's good to gauge attitudes, and sometimes I learn things.

I came because I have been praying all day and something in me told me that I needed to come and check on everyone and pray for the people that need prayers and pray for my sister who is in Jeresulem praying for peace and celebrating the new year with my Jewish grandmother and I pray and pray she will be ok that is why I came so I could pray for everyone. Shalom God Bless

every particle in our physical universe, every structure and every being is a shell that contains sparks of holiness. our task is to release each spark from the shell and raise it up, ultimately to return to its original state. the way these sparks are releaseed are through acts of loving kindness, of being in harmony with the universe, and through higher awareness.

the opportunities to raise sparks are boundless. the choices we make for our activiities, the questions we ask, the answers we give, the interactions we have with family and friends, neighbours, business associates, and even strangers, the way we spend our leisure time , the books we read, the television we watch, the way we relate to food, everything in daily life presents sparks locked in husks awaiting release.

in each question asked or answered there is the potential to raise holy sparks. in becoming more aware of this fact, this ability, we are not spirituallly asleep, we will accomplish much, for the medium through which sparks are raised is consciousness itself and yahoo answers in the religion and spirituality section reeks with sparks of holiness awaiting release.

I come here to learn about people. My questions are never really suited to this section, and I get deleted all the time (I just did). However, this is the section where the answers to the questions are the most meaningful, so this is where I stay.

To plant a seed in the heart of a nonbeliever, That he/she may See the truth and become saved by the truth of the Lord. It's a hard job, But somebody has to do it.

I love answering questions. I hope I'm helpful. I'm not a Bible scholar - but I love the Lord and just want to help other Christians and non-Christians if I can.

It's one category where the questions come in fast. Have you ever been to the travel or pet category, yawn.
Also the politics category just made me mad most of the time.
