I will assume this is a serious question so I will answer it as such. I did rate it as a good question.
First I did check the word simplicity in the Yahoo on line reference dictionary and it has plenty of meanings. You did not specify what meaning you are asking about thus I will pick the simplest one. If you did not do that, do look up the word for your own benefit.
A humankind unit can come into this world and not eat, not drink, not work, not pay taxes, and have a short simple life. He can just lay on the place where he is put after his birth and just wait to die for it will come in pure simplicity.
Of course he must breathe, and have some body functions until the death does arrive, but that will take no effort on his part. Those are built in automatic functions that will all just in pure simplicity shut down in a couple days. Thus I guess I must say yes to your question.
Now if you are talking of a later point in life then that all depends on the outlook of the individual. If he does accept the comstantly consistent truth that he is not in control and does accept the fact a Controller will control him and make him content in every way no matter what then also simplicity is simple.
My friend I see in my view that pure truth only hurts those who will not accept it and the rejection of pure constantly consistent truth is what brings for complexity and eliminated simplicity.
That is my view and you can reject it or accept it. It is ok with me but maybe it is wrong for you. I can accept that. I just tried to answer from my view.
Now do smile and have a good day and ask another so I can think a little, lerarn something new and continue to enjoy the day OK

PURE and TRUE simple people are sinful. Honestly.
Proverbs 1:20-33
20 Wisdom cries aloud in the street,
in the markets she raises her voice;
21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out;
at the entrance of the city gates she speaks:
22 “How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple?
How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing
and fools hate knowledge?
23 If you turn at my reproof, [1]
behold, I will pour out my spirit to you;
I will make my words known to you.
24 Because I have called and you refused to listen,
have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded,
25 because you have ignored all my counsel
and would have none of my reproof,
26 I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when terror strikes you,
27 when terror strikes you like a storm
and your calamity comes like a whirlwind,
when distress and anguish come upon you.
28 Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer;
they will seek me diligently but will not find me.
29 Because they hated knowledge
and did not choose the fear of the Lord ,
30 would have none of my counsel
and despised all my reproof,
31 therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way,
and have their fill of their own devices.
32 For the simple are killed by their turning away,
and the complacency of fools destroys them;
33 but whoever listens to me will dwell secure
and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.”

In this culture? No.
True simplicity in this existance is: you eat, you live, you don't, you die. Or, is your question more political than that?
