Say by flushing their holy books? http://flushaholybook.com
Or drawing funny pictures of their prophets.
Or wiping our asses with the pages of their scriptures (then flush em)

The thing is we must be free to criticise one another, and disrespecting each others symbols is one way to remove their aura of holyness. We shouln'd bomb each other, or murder people, but flushing holy books? that's okay right?

No I think we should all respect each others ideologies or religions. We all come by these ideas because of where we are born or who our parents are or by how rich or poor we are. There is nothing to criticise about the accident of birth or how we perceive reality.

What do insults accomplish? Better dialog, understanding, communication?

Think. Yes, somethings we say may offend, but to intentionally harm another for the sake of injury? I do not understand it. When someone of another faith tries to force conversion, I may strongly state my position of understanding, but always allow the respect of the other to accept or reject my position without injury.

the symbol of my faith is a pentagram, the symbol of humanity.

it is also a symbol of freedom to me. and if you restrict a symbol of freedom you only reduce it's value.

however it is kind of pointy so i would not reccomend wipeing your *** with it... strictaly from a my desire to not hear a news story about a man with cuts in his rectum due to his decision to wipe his *** with a metal pointy object, after talking to Chris J on yahoo answers......
