I learned German in Elementary School, and so it is engrained in me. I don't get to use it that often, as it is slowly fading.

Anyone in the same situation. I'm in Milwaukee, and would want s/o local.

There's a web site, http://german.about.com, that features forums in which you can write in or about German. The forums are hosted by native speakers who are willing to help people improve their German.

I took it in high school and it was soo much easier for me to pick up than Spanish. How weird is that? I bought a few PC programs and I'm re-learning that way. I'm in Indiana- so I'm a little too far away.

A German Chat Room could help you to refresh your memory and vocabulary....however, nothing intelligent ever is discussed in a chat room !!!!
