Actually, that's a very good question. There are many very good people, law-abiding, generous... etc, but they don't believe in God.
I ask myself the same question. I wonder what will happen to them all... All I know is that God is the only Judge on Judgment day. So it will be up to Him to decide where their destiny will be.
I've learned there are two Heavens and one Hell. One of the Heavens is higher than the other, it's reserved for those who had truly, and unconditionally believed in God.

God is Love! And he who abides in Love, abides in God, and God in him.
Do you believe that hurting others in self-defense is ok? Even if innocent others get hurt in the process?
I don't. As someone put it:
Love (no, I don't mean sex!) is the answer - whatever the question.
Try it!
We need to WANT to think and act out of compassion and we need to WANT to forgive others and ourselves for any wrongdoing.
What does the Lord require of you but to act justly and to love kindness.
That's also the basis for the "golden rule": Treat others as you would like them to treat you. If everybody would do that there could/would be peace on earth!
Just follow that and you may find, God is right there!

The result is a person who is a positive influence on the lives of others because they feel it is the right thing to do... not because god said so... or because they want to get into heaven.

I believe that when we die our "souls" go to a place called Summerland. And we are ready we are reincarnated into a new life. I also believe that in each life we live we are here to learn a lesson or several lessons in several lives. I believe that when people are "evil" that Karma will make sure they pay the price while alive.

Most people/churches nowadays preach OSAS (once saved always saved) but this is a damning heresey for starters.
it is the get of jail(HELL) CARD allowing any and all sin as a christian to go un unchecked and more importantly UNREPENTED FOR, TO JESUS THAT IS.

IT SAYS THAT.......ALL <<<< LIERS, WILL HAVE THEIR PART IN THE LAKE OF FIRE, along with the rest of the people on the list.
yet people who preach ETERNAL SECURITY would say that the verse(bible) is wrong. that you DO NOT UNDERSTAND IT,
THEY WILL NOT ADMIT THAT THEY "COULD" TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST TOO, AND YET THEIR DOCTRINE ALLOWS ROOM TO EVEN TAKE SATANS MARK(ALLEGIANCE) even though at one time or another you were "saved".
Jesus desires a personal AND ONGOING WORKING FAITH AND LOVE FOR HIM, IN OUR LIVES.
FREEWILL. ON GOING TRUE LOVE (OUR FIRST LOVE, AS HE CALLS IT, TO SERVE HIM )
READ ABOUT THE 7 CHURCHES IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION AS WELL.
they are all examples of "church" goers who will NOT GO TO HEAVEN UNLESS THEY REPENT OF THIER SINS.

Good people don't go to Heaven - sorry. A lot of good people will go to hell and a lot of bad people will go to Heaven.
Also because you don't believe in something, does not mean it doesn't exist - God exists and is ALIVE!!!
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." Saved from sin/self - doing things your way and not God's. That is the way to Heaven and Eternal Life. Choose Christ.
