Your BF is looking at 1 Corinthians 7:32-35.
At the time of Paul's writing this letter, the church was under heavy persecution. They wrote to Paul about whether they should be marrying or not, in case a husband or wife should be martyred.
Paul's answer is basically, if you want to get married, get married. However, don't let your relationship with a spouse get in the way of your relationship with Jesus Christ.
Plus (!) If a husband should care about the things of the world and how he may please his wife, well, that's not all-together a bad thing. Blessing others will always mean that you are denying self to some degree.
Stay focused on the Lord, and bless your spouse. We really CAN mulit-task with this one, and with the Lord's blessings.

oy vey hes got that backwards. It sounds more like hes afraid of the responsibility of caring for someone and maybe his(their ) children. And the loss of his own freedom to do as he wants.
While yes you have to think of certain material things when married it does not have to become an obsession.if he wants to go by the bible . it says that the LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. not the need for money. bet he would leave a scorch track out of the house if he won the lottery.
Marriage is so that GOD Will bless the union of two souls together.to walk the ups and downs of life toghter supporting each other in body and soul.
Unfortunately it will take him until hes in his 40's or 50's before he stops thinking in terms of me and I and starts thinking in terms of we and us. if you can catch him.
right now he feels trapped in a corner with no way out and is just plain scared out of his wits about the idea.
PS: AS TO YOUR ORGINAL QUESTION THERE IS NO SUCH VERSES.

I think he's taking the Bible out of context. There are numerous passages in the Bible about marriage. Try checking out: http://bibleresources.bible.com/keywordsearchresults.php?multiplemethod=all&numpageresults=25&select=searchBible&keyword=marriage&Submit.x=0&Submit.y=0&version=51&page=2

He's right. Paul said that, but he was referring to not having sex either. If you guys are getting to know one another in the "biblical" fashion, living together, or considering kidlettes, then you're just as good as married.
What Paul said was that if you can't avoid sex, get married.
Now, I'm not an advocate of this stuff, but it's in the book of First Corinthians, Chapter 7

It doesn't say not to get married, it says those who are married have to divide their attention between God and their marriage mate.
Where as those who can make their life in singleness, are not divided in their attention and can devote themselves to God.
1 Cor 7:1-14, 28
If they are making singleness their way of life then they shouldn't have a girl / boy friend.
1 Cor 7:1 & 9

I guess he never wants to have sex, because the Bible says: no marriage = no sex.
In the Bible, Paul wrote that marriage wasn't high on his recommendations, but that people who couldn't live without sex should get married. Paul was a general party-pooper, about most things.

What the bible says is that man must marry if they cannot keep from the sins of the flesh. God would rather man not marry so they can concentrate on serving Him. Because if a man marries their concerns will first be to his wife and family.
In this scripture, it speaks of people who divorce because their hearts hardened towards one another, and for that reason, they would be commiting adultery if they remarried. So then it would be better for them not to marry.
Matthew 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery
Matthew 19:10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
1st corinthians 7: 32-33 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
careth 1st Tim 5:5
33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
1st Corinthians 7:27 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.
I believe that this is what your boyfriend is talking about.

From which version of the bible or is it the dead sea scrolls?
In one bible it says that God created Adam & Eve and told them to go and procreate.
As there were no priests to marry them they were not married and lived in adultry and produced illegal children.

It is a sign.
Not from God, but from your boyfriend. There is nothing unscriptural about marriage. I hope you find someone who wants to marry you one day.
It is possible, however, that his enthusiasm is taking him to an extreme. Have some to the older men in your church speak with him, maybe they can mellow him out.

I have never ever heard of that one before. It does say that some people should not marry, but nothing like what he said.
