I was walking to the store one day (it was about 1/2 mile away, when a large, grey dog came running out of nowhere, and began to pursue me, growling at me visciously. I stopped suddenly and looked at it. Then I started talking to it calmly, and turned my head; making funny faces at it. Then I turned around the other direction and walked away. The dog got confused and left. "Stupid mutt"! I grumbled.

Funny, but true.

My brother went to work (home remodel) with my dad. The lady opened the front door and a huge pit bull ran out and charged my brother who started running. My dad started chasing the dog who was chasing my brother. My dad lunged for the dog but not before the dog bit down on my brother's buttocks. As my dad tackled the dog the lady began screaming "don't hurt him, he doesn't have any teeth".

i've had dogs chase my car, but i actually have cats follow me more than dogs, strange but true. my cat, Ming, loves to follow me all the time, sometimes i even have a problem when they decide to try and walk ahead and i trip over them. One time ming was going into the bathroom with me, and she went to jump on the back of the toliet but she slipped, and she ended up going into instead of on it. haha, that was a really funny pitiful day for her. she looked so scrauny with her fur all wet.

Yes and it's scary. The best thing to do is nit run, face theanimal and talk to it. Most strays won't attack you face on but will bite if you turn your back to them.

YES, may times! Most of them are harmless. A lot are just looking for attention. Some think your on their turf. Very few are dangerous.

Just remember, if you're ever in real danger with a wild animal, one way to stop it in its tracks is to go for the eyes.
