my dog will be ten some time in november nad she has had many litters over the years. we have two of her older pups in the house and each are in heat. my dog did just have a pup three months or so ago. we have this horn dog male, my dog's brother, and he is mistaking my dog as the dog in heat. earlier today he 'got her.' now she isn't in heat, she can't get pregnet unless she's in heat right?

Never had the money to get my girl fixed. And i also heard that it is harder on the female when she is spayed.

i'm pretty sure that she can't. i think that 'in heat' is the same as a woman's menstrual (sp?) cycle.

ya know ... none of them can get pregnant if they're spayed. how about using that Oct 19th surgery date for the females and get the male done the following month.

At 10 yrs old she should have already been fixed.
If she's not in heat, she can not get PG.
