Why is it that girls always seem to go out with guys who
I can see right through and I can immediately upon first seeing
the guy tell that he is a player, a liar, a cheater, a loser.. and girls
windup with these guys.. I was in a relationship with a girl from Switzerland.. we both loved each other..but she had to go back after 4 months of being here.. we originally planned on her moving here peromanently, but she thought it through and couldn't do it because of family, friends, and the love of her country. In a phone conversation with her, she told me that I should try not to be so nice that I am too nice.. what the hell?! I bought her flowers for no reason, I got her cards occasionally for no reason and on holidays.. I treated her like a princess.. but I don't think I overdid it..
This is something I don't understand about women even after dating dozens of them.

Well this is areally good question. I have not yet figured out why I make the bad choices I do and I always seem to think that this time it'll be different, this guy isn't like the others, yet it's always the same. Maybe it's the excitement they bring, the thrill of catching the guy all the other girls want. Maybe we think we can change them. Whatever the reason may be next time don't be so nice, don't call too much, don't spend all your money until you know she is going to stick around. A relationship is 50/50 you should get what your putting in you deserve that.

I don't... I think if a woman is volentarily with a man that treats her badly, she doesn't know what she is looking for in a man at that point. They must have some reason (maybe one below the surface) for being with the guy. It's probably nothing personal. Anyway, I think her saying that your "too nice" is really broad. Perhaps she didn't want to hurt your feelings but it looks like it happened anyway. Not all women like the kind of treatment you described. The best relationships are those between friends, and friends don't usually continuously dote on each other like that, I think it seems fake.

it is a mystery, no real good answer.... we ask that of ourselves all the time. We say we all want the great guy who will treat us like a princess and yet we walk away fromthem.
My ex boyfriend wouldve given me the moon - he was kind and generous. It became predictable, I knew when I'd get the flowers I knew what I'd get for b-days and christmas etc. Then it felt predictable and thoughtless... too much and no spontaneous off the wall sweet little nothings

I think it's generally a lack of self-esteem on the part of the woman. It's the Groucho Marx "I would never want to be part of any club that would have me as a member" syndrome. They figure if a guy is that nice to them, he must be a loser who can't do any better. I know....it's a totally sick mindset. It's most common in young women. They get over it when they get older and more confident. (I know because I used to be like that too.)

I, personally, would love to have a guy like you. Woman like men who will treat then right. Men who will treat them the way you treated your gf. However, there are some girls out there that go after the guys that will treat them badly, because they are afraid of being with someone who they could really fall for, who will treat them right, because they are afraid of getting hurt and loosing that. Don't change. There is someone out there that will love you treating her like a queen.

its easier to be treated badly for most women, it's all about self esteem, they believe that they are worthless, so they date guys that make them feel that way. The second they find a guy that treats them nice, and actually loves them they run like hell. It's like trying to explain what happend to the dinosaurs, we can guess, but noone really understands women, even women!!!

Yea....you overdid it. Something in our brains makes us want to be with the ones that treat us the worst esp. if we've been burned more than a few times. Try treating her like sh*t and she will come running. Sad but true....

What everyone says is retarded. I see it time and time again. Some girl gets screwed over by some ****** and comes crying to me (or some other poor soul) for advice. It doesn't make any sense. When will it be my turn?
