Our faith in Jesus is neither sane or insane. It is just the peace you have in your heart when you really know Jesus. I would have to say sane is not an appropriate term to use. But you must remember those that do not know Jesus may think we are not sane. Another thing to remember and grow in understanding is the trinity of God being three persons. God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. I truly feel when you are most at peace with yourself is when you allow the Holy Spirit into your heart.
God bless!

I don't know what dictionary you're using, but "faith in Jesus" isn't a part of the definition of sane. According to my Webster's sane is: free from mental derangement; having a sound healthy mind. Having or showing reason, sound judgment, or good sense. Sound, healthy. From Latin sanus--healthy.

Sanity considered as a legal term denotes that an individual is of sound mind and therefore can bear legal responsibility for his or her actions. It is generally defined in terms of the absence of insanity. It is not a medical term, although the opinions of medical experts are often important in making a legal decision as to whether someone is sane or insane. It is also not the same concept as mental illness. One can be acting under profound mental illness and yet be sane, and one can also be ruled insane without an underlying mental illness.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind
1 Corinthians 1:18
18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

"Sanity" refers to the mental ability of an individual to tell the difference between reality and unreality. A person's religion does not necessarily indicate their mental condition. There can be sane Satanists as well as sane Christians.

The frontal lobe of your brain controls your behavior. That's why Satan wants to mark your fore head. If your born with this lobe in tact you are programed with a knowledge of good. You don't know as a baby that messing your pants is unacceptable when you grow up. Teaching is part of education of that lobe. IF THAT lobe is damaged with like a baseball bat or a stroke your behavior can change. But Jesus has nothing to do with sanity pro or con. People aren't crazy if they don't believe in Jesus has more important things to do that get involved with sanity.

Insane means mentally ill. Since all illnesses are healed by the shedding of Jesus blood through acceptance of Jesus as our savior.. That would make christians cured of any sickness through faith in Jesus as their savior.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Non believers consider Christians crazy or insane because of their belief in God and in His son Jesus. So I gues you could say that i am crazy about Jesus who is my savior. Praise the Lord.

No, people can be perfectly sane atheists or Jews. The fact that I'm a Christian doesn't make all non-Christians insane.

...so you are actually attempting to define different things of faith, or that is faith is the only requirement for belief. wow.
did you know that it takes faith that YOU WRITING A QUESTION DOWN, THAT OTHERS WOULD ANSWER IT?
or that when you go to work, you will get a paycheck as promised for your fruits/work?
or the chair you are sitting on that is not even solid matter (there are more seperated molecules UNSEEN than we realize within)
that is holding you up?
get the pic?
lets see now..... a chair is holding you up OR THE LAWS THAT IS OF GRAVITY, HOLDING YOU DOWN
or the faith of your fruits/work that cause you to receive your just reward or payment etc.....
I could go on and on.
simple analogy (common sense) SCREEMS OUT THE RELEVANCE OF THE HOLY BIBLE, my friend.
