The government has not said that it was the spinach that was the source. It is something that has been exposed to the spinach such as watering techniques that possesses the ecoli. When they know the source and take care of it then I will go back to eating spinach.

I was quite distressed over this e-coli outbreak. I love spinach, and eat it almost every day. I miss it, but I'm not willing to risk my health right now.

It's crazy how a vegetable can get a bad rap. I love spinach! I can't wait until it's back. It could have been any food (i.e. apples, pears, onions)....I wish it could have been junk food that was transmitting e-coli. Then people would have to eat healthy. :)

I never ate spinach to begin with. I can't stand it any way.. it just goes to show that you need to cook your food, and wash it before cooking it.

I'm never scared. Or should I say as time passes, I'm progressively scared less and less of anything in general.

If you eat it cooked from the freezer it should be ok. Between the freezing and the cooking, that should kill everything.
