Sure. But so does Satan.
The real question is do you believe that Jesus Christ died for YOUR sin(s)?
Way back at the start of things, God created man and woman in part to be in relationship with Him - sort of like friends.
After the sin thing, God has attempted to re-establish that relationship. That is the theme behind and through the entire Bible. The culmination of that effort is the life and death and resurrection of Jesus - God in the flesh. No more effort is needed than this. All that is needed now is for each person to accept what Christ did as being done for them as an individual. If you were the only human left to live, Christ STILL would have died for you!

A accept that you are sinful and need help
B believe that Jesus died for your sin - personally
C commit your life to living for Him

That's all it takes but that takes all.
Any help?

Jesus (Yehoshua bin Yosef al Nazareth) died for what he believed in.. He wanted to spread the word of G-d all over the world and help lead people to become better Jews..

His dying on the cross was a result of his going against the government.. I'm sure he would rather have the world remember him for the words that he spoke and the people that he helped rather than thinking that he was a blood sacrifice to wash away the sins of all the people of the world.. No man can die for another man's sins..

It's not where you go in the afterlife.. It's what you do here on Earth while you're alive..

Yehoshua was a brave scholar and people should hold his teachings close to his heart.

No. I gave up that particular belief for lent, and never went back.

This is a throwback to the practice of sacrificing living things to God. Kill a ram for redemption, find a virgin and stab her in the heart, drink her blood, or dress her in white and flowers and make her jump into the volcano - that kind of stuff. It was very popular for quite a few millenium, but I look forward to a time when people don't hold God to that kind of bloodthirstiness.

"Behold, the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world."
literally means Jesus was sacrificed instead of the best lamb of the flock. Blood-letting to please the God [formerly the Gods.]

When are people going to give God a break? I just don't think that an all-knowing, all-seeing, all-loving supernatural creator is going to really demand anybody's blood is spilt for anything. What a jerk he'd be if that were the case! What a vindictive, angry God you all have created.

Enough soapbox. No, I don't believe that. I think he had some dangerous ideas and a powerful message that some people in power didn't want spread around, and they killed him for it. But I also think his message has made it, for those who read and ernestly seek it.

Seek the truth always. It is very illusive.
Peace.

Jesus didn't pay for anyone's sins ... he atoned for them.

Big difference!

If Jesus paid for all our sins than mankind would no longer be subject to death or hell.

As that is most certanly not the case, the only certainty is that Jesus died so that we might have our sins forgiven.

That's why grace, faith, repentance, and the Church are all still absolutely necessary for salvation.

Things are never quite as simple as some would have us believe.

Yes, you are now free to sin about the country. Well it's a nice idea but does that mean that if you sin and repent and confess your sin you didn't sin?

If your dad paid for you to go to college and you turn it down,
STATING THAT YOUR FATHER DID NOT PAY THE PRICE FOR YOU TO ENTER IN WOULD BE FALSE.

IT IS IN YOUR HANDS WHAT YOU DO WITH THAT FREE GIFT.

SO YES, JESUS HAS ...MADE A WAY FOR ALL MANKIND TO CHOOSE SALVATION AND 4GIVNESS OF SINS.
OR TO REJECT HIM. PERIOD.

Jesus was a revolutionary.
He died because of his radical ideas.
He died for them as well.
