i have white skin with a little tan not much (but not white white a nice color) lots of freckles on the face and dark reddish hail with a little brown tint to it my hair goes almost to my butt with long layers what would b a good color to color it please b honest this is my first time to color it

i think you should do two colors of foils leaving most of your natural hair color. For the first color use a shade at least 3 levels lighter than your natural haircolor, and the second color should be at least 3 levels darkers than your natural haircolor. I think you would hate the up keep on a complete haircolor, and when you foil in 2 different colors you get alot of added dimention....you don't have to do it near as often as a overall color, because it blends in alot better. Since you have such long hair, GET IT DONE PROFESSIONALLY!!! It may cost more, but it will be SOOO worth it!!! You don't want your hair to become overly damaged, and you want each foil to be completely covered so that you don't get a "splotchy" look.

try some soft blonde h/l. don't do anything to bright cause summer is over and that would be to harsh. its settle but you will still see it. its good for a first time color. good luck!

oh thats such a pretty color if its what im thinking. just do some subtly highlights, and make sure your long hair looks healthy not straggily!
