I recently started a diet. Can you tell me of foods that are high protein; low carb foods and "good" fats. Individually, of course.

Chicken, turkey and lean ham are great sources of protein. Low fat cheese and cottage cheese are also good. Any type of fish has omega-3 fats (which are the good fats) they are also a great source of protein. Basically, any meat will not have carbs. You want to get your carbs in the form of fruits and veggies (but not potatoes, corn, carrots or other sugary veggies). Stay away from breads and other grains. Good fats are from olive (or other vegetable oil), nuts and fish.

Any animal product (meat, poultry, fish) are protein and not carb. Low fat /no fat dairy are some good options, but not cheese, because you need dairy.
