I get blisters on the padded part of my foot between my big toe and my arch. My shoes are not old, so that is not the problem. It's really bothersome b/c I want to run farther distances, but getting blister all the time prevents this.

you may not have the right type of runner for your foot for running distances.....you can buy an innersole made from sorbethane which absorbs alot of the shock when running and it would also cushion your feet.....

Well just because your shoes arent old doesnt mean their right for you. I got blisters from my old running shoes so when to an actual running store. I forgot the name but it is all about athletes and their shoes. They did all these tests to find the best shoes for me. I walked on this computerized pad that showed how I walked and they did all this stuff. Turns out this certain type of guys shoe fit me best and its the best pair ive ever had. I can run 5 miles and not get blisters. So go to a professional place specializing in footwear and athletes and they will find out what the prob. is.

Try somewhere like The Athletes Foot http://www.theathletesfoot.com/home.html

It's your shoes. They don't fit right. You need to go to a shoe store and ask the person there which shoe would be best, for YOU, for running long distances. Different people need different shoes... You should try them on and try talking around the store with them. Make sure that they don't slide on your foot, AT ALL.

And, sometimes, if your feet sweat a lot when you're running.. That can cause it too. Try getting something for your feet, that you can apply before you go running.

you may want to try an additional pad in the shoe. why don't you try going to myfootshop.com for some help. it is very helpful with articles, products and discussion forums with a doc to help you out. try the source as a direct link to site. i could direct you to an exact page based on a condition but i'm not sure of symptoms other than blisters but give the site a shot i think youl'll find it helpful. good luck!

First off vitamin E oil on the blisters a few times a day will help them....second off do the shoes fit properly if they do try wearing padded socks...

the main reason that u would get blisters is the size of ur shoe if its too small ur foot will rub against ur shoe and thus the result would be blisters.

Your shoes do not fit right. Go to the mall and have them recommend and help fit them. They make shoes just for running. My girls like Niki air.

Something is rubbing, try getting a insole to snug it up a bit.
