im trying to get closer to this girl that i really like but ive been told(not from her) that she has never had a boyfriend and she seems really uptight and she doesnt express her feelings.

maybe she has had something happen in her childhood to her that she can not express to you how she feels. And maybe she is scared of getting hurt. Just take it slow you may need to earn her trust.

Be patient and work with her. Get her to open up, make her feel comfortable, safe and secure. Then if she is willing, she will open up to you.

just talk to her for a while make sure she is comfortable talking to you. Trust me when she is she will open up.
