From experience, I can answer this question really quick. NO!! Most frogs in teh USA are not poisonous so the worry isn't there. They can, however, carry very dangerous bacteria on their bodies that could infect your dog and then infect you. Toads, is a different story. KEEP TOADS AWAY FROM YOUR DOGS!!! ALL toads are poisonous to dogs because of the froth they release when they die. I've had a beautiful German Shepherd that came from Seiger working lines and was on the way to being a champion himself. Unfortunately, one night a toad sneaked into my yard and my dog got a hold of it. When I went out he next morning to feed my dogs, I found him on the floor almost dead. I took him to the vet but it was too late. The poison was already in his system and he died. From that day on, I both frog and toad prevented my lawn by limiting the way anything could get in. Keep your dogs away from toads and frogs. Keep frogs and toads out of your yard and home.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU0na

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

My dog has caught a few, and unless you live in an area where they can be poisonous, don't worry. I would try to discourage her though- they can make her sick. When a frog is in imminent danger they release this slimy ooze that will make your dog puke so she lets go. Your dog won't be feeling too hot for a while, but she'll live! At least you don't have my problem- my dog catches bunnies!

Well, see, the thing is, people in other countries don't see any problems with eating dog meat. For them, it's just another type of food and a different source of nutrition. In the U.S., it is not uncommon to eat meat from a cow. However, in India, this is frowned upon because cows are a major part of culture to Hindus. It's the same with dogs; dogs are huge in America. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but they should respect the view of another. So I agree, it is okay to eat a dog.

no poisonous or not frogs and/or toads are not dog food and can make your dog sick or kill it since your dog may not properly digest it so everytime you see your dog to eat a frog or toad say no and hit it on the head softly very soflty so he knows he should do that he probably just ants to play with it give him many chew toys instead so he will leave the frogs alone and not gety sick well bye hope i hepled

No. Many frogs and toads can secrete poisonous fluid from their skin.

I sure don't know for sure, but my golden has eaten her share of toads and is still alive to tell about it! I constantly catch her playing with them, then she'll eat them (GROSS!) before I can get them away from her. Then of course she wants to kiss me when she's done!
