I used to want to be so many different things when I was a little girl. A vet, a sportscaster, a dancer, etc. I went to school and studied electronic media and found that I am very passionate about the arts. That is I was passionate until I saw that it is a bad lifestyle if you want to have a family. Benefits are not good and hours are long. Many people in my family are in education and I never even considered that I was called to be a teacher. When I hinted to my mother that I might try teaching the arts to kids she didn't seem at all suprised. I asked her why and she said "We always knew you would be a teacher, but if we told you that, you would have never felt called on your own." Isn't it amazing how sometimes what you are meant to do is there all along and you are the last to realize it? Sorry for rambling on!

I work from home, and take care of my kids, house, and husband. But for my life calling, its Jesus. Just got back in the groove of things, and I am waiting what is GOD's purpose in my life right now. Thats our real calling.

I believe I was destined to be a healer. Not like a really big faith healer, but just someone that can help heal other people's everyday hurts. I take that calling very seriously. I try to be aware of how other people are feeling and reach out to them in any way I can.

I own my own medical transcription business and I work from home. I'm not sure which part is my life calling - the type of work that I do, or the fact that I get to work from home. Either way, it definitely works for me.
