My OPT ends in February 2006, i got married in May, and we are still working on the all the paperworks, obviously we are procrastinating! But how soon do I have to turn them in, is there like a deadline like 3 months before your OPT ends??

Submit your documents immediately for the convenient processing of your status.

Try not to procrastinate on matters like these. They are crucially important and should be submitted ASAP! I think that the deadline is actually six months before one's OPT ends, but I think it depends the location of where one turns the papers in.

Not sure though.
Hope this helped some, or gave you some insight.
But my best advice would be to work on getting those papers submitted as soon as possible.

You should have gotten married and filed for adjustment of status before your previous visa ended. Now, you are technically out of status. If you are married to a U.S. citizen, then your overstay will probably be forgiven but file asap.
