An obsession with living sounds like one is engaged in life as opposed to putting it off for some unlikely promised afterlife.
Give me such an obsession!

The Spiritual Warrior embraces his death. Having no fear of it, having experienced the reality of his spirit. Thereby living his life as a warrior. Not worrying about the past, or the future. But living
in the present. Enjoying the moment. A warrior does everything he does, like it's the most important thing he will ever do.

Hebrews 2:
14Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— 15and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.
Ask yourself these two questions: If I were going to die next week, what would I do today?
And: If I knew I were going to live forever, what would I like my reputation to be?
