OK...but let me remind you that the Bible is not a science book...and using this to prove creationism only does a disservice for your cause.
(what I mean is you cant prove creationism with the Bible. Sorry but its true.)
Try Genesis Chapers 1-2.

You can find scripture in Genesis that describes how God created the universe, Earth and all the life upon it, but you would have to be a bible believer for this to be 'proof'. I for one, am a literal bible believer and a scientific minded person and I can meld my Biblical beliefs (which take precedence of any earthly teaching) and scientific understanding of physics, the earth, etc and meld them perfectly.
You’ve been presented with some secular beliefs above. And don’t think for a minute that their beliefs aren’t a religion just as mine (yours?) are. They believe in things that cannot be proven, such as the age of the Earth, evolution, etc. So now, I recommend that you read the opinions of Christians who do believe and are apologists’ for the biblical view of creation.
Here are some articles on a great website that I think you might find helpful.
Creation: Where’s the proof? -> http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v22/i1/creation.asp
What’s the best ‘proof’ of creation? -> http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/wow/preview/part11.asp
God tells us to, “Seek and you shall find”. So keep seeking.

what is wrong with Gensis?
But there are some cool scientific scritpures that I think you'll like
Job 26:7
He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing
Science didn't know the earth was suspended in the atmosphere untill a couple hundred year ago
Isaiah 40:22
It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
Science didn't know the world was a spere (hebrew word translated circle) untill a few years ago

That's hilarious.
That's like asking for someone to cite the verses from the Lord of the Rings that prove dragons exist.

You would have to first assume that the bible is true. Then you would have to read the first chapter of the first book.
I do not, by the way, assume that the bible is true. Therefore, not a single word or verse or page in it, nor the book itself, will ever prove anything to me.

There are so many.... but even apart from the Word of God, creation speaks for itself.

I'm not a 6-Day Creationist, but this might help.
This is the testimony of Jesus concerning creation, Jesus uses Genesis 1:27 and 2:24 to support his teaching on divorce, clearly if Jesus believes in Genesis chapters one and two so should we:
Mat 19:4 (NIV) "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' 5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?
Mark 13:19 (NIV) because those will be days of distress unequalled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now--and never to be equalled again.

In other words, you think that a bible verse will disprove science? Are you planning also to use Shakespeare to design a suspension bridge?

If you are looking to prove creation to a non believer, you can not do it with Bible verses, remember, they do not believe.
If you want some good tips on the subject though, try "The case for Creation" by Lee Strobbel. This is a man who was an atheist setting out to disprove creation and God altogether, he ended up converting to Christianity and accepting Jesus Christ as his savior. He is a really great author who has been on both sides of the coin.

"and god said let there be light,"
nothing in a book that is dedicated to a certain god will prove creation to somebody that does not believe in that god.
this is why the "Bible as proof" arguements are always beat down by Pagans and athiest's
