Allowing that we are speaking of a straight line, a single plane, and that a side is an area not part of the line, a finite line has four sides, top and bottom and the two end points. The ends points count even though they have the smallest possible dimension. Their measure must be more than zero else they cannot exist. Now, an infinite line by definition has no end point, hence, only top and bottom can be experienced. So, the answer is two.

2 dimensionally it would equal 2 sides assuming the line does not cross itself or loop.

3 dimensionally it is 360 assuming you measure in degrees and the line does not cross itself or loop... or if you measuring in points and not degrees the number can be infinite in of itself
