I've tried everything, and I have no volume to it either. Please give me any advice!

Try buying some mane and tail shampoo and conditioner. If that doesnt help then go to your local sally's and see what hair growth shampoo they have. But I would try the mane and tail shampoo and conditioner first. If either of these dont help then just buckle down and go to the doctor. Best of Luck.

Eliminating the possibility of a health issue or over processing, consider genetics. If your father is bald, and your mother has thin hair, it doesn't look good, hon. If that is the case, be gentle with it, and get the proper nutrition. You might be able to slow down the inevitable. Other than that, there isn't much you can do. Unless the Hair Club or one of those other baldness cures really does work. You'll have to hear about that from someone else out there, because I haven't heard of one that really works.

Be double sure to keep your hair and scalp very clean. Clogged folicles die off faster. Alopecia can be caused by a myriad of things including but not limited to stress, genetics, etc.

Now, I actually got hair to grow back on my balding late husband by mixing Wheat germ oil and a bit Jojoba oil and then massaging that into his scalp and letting it stay on over night twice a week. I also got ahold of some Biotin hair dressing which he used every day.

We were AMAZED that this actually worked!!! But it took about 5 months before we noticed the results.

Go to your doctor right away. An untreated under active thyroid will cause your hair to get thinner.

Also, the lack or certain vitamins will also casue your hair to thin. So will dieting in some cases. Hair is made from protein, if you haven't been eating enough portein, that could be the cause.

Go to your doctor before you try to fix it yourself.

See a dermatologist. You may have a medical condition if you haven't severely damaged your hair from over processing due to way too much chemical service, including coloring. It could also be hereditary, but you need to see a dermatologist. BTW: I know they are skin doctors. However, they can tell you more about your hair (which is rooted in the scalp, which is covered in skin) than an internist.

I hate to be incorrect about this, but if you really want thicker hair, you could shave it all off. This encourages the hair to come in thicker to cover your scalp (I'm not joking either).

If you don't believe me, my other suggestion is that you can go to a professional salon and see what they say.

My husband has thinning hair and he gets his hair dyed darker - it makes it look thicker immediately. Have you tried this?

You have to feed yourself good nutritious foods, consider a good natural multi vitamin. And use good natural hair products.
Check out this site with good nutrition info, they will have a store opening in October.
