I work out for about an hour every afternoon, mostly running and stationary bicycle. But my progress is hindered because as soon as I get home I start eating whatever I find.
I'm tired of that. Any suggestions for healthy snacks or dinner will be very appreciated.

Do you work out close to dinner time? Or right after lunch? I always like to eat a banana and a nature valley bar, because I work out in between breakfast and lunch. Fruit, yogurt with cereal and fruit in it is always good too.
If you are needing recipes for some good meals you can go to Delicious Decisions it is the American Heart Association's site, they have alot of great ones. I print them and hand them out at the club. There are some good crackers out there now that are low fat too.

For a snack: Small Apple with peanut butter with a cup of hot Green Tea

For Dinner: Baked chicken breast, brown rice, steamed broccoli or fresh green salad with a low-fat ginger sesame dressing. Drink any non-calorie beverage (I like Sam's Choice sparkling fruit waters--Walmart).

Hope this helps.

I always eat a apple cut in half with peanut butter on it and if you are peanut allergic just eat a apple. And drink lots of water with it. If not you will get a stomach ache from excercsing and eating with out anything to wash it all down with. Hope I Helped!

Most bodybuilders say whatever is fine if it is in the first hour after you eat but what works best for me is something with natural sugar like fruit and veggies

well, if you're trying to lose weight, DON'T STARVE YOURSELF, you will only lose strenght and not weight, in which case after a workout eat a bagel with grape or strawberry jam and some water.
