I have had this pain for about a week now and it just feels really tight slightly above my waist and just under my ribs. It feels better if I put pressure on it but it's not excrutiating pain or anything like that. What is it?

it might be angina pectoris. try taking antacids first because i suspect you have hyperacidity. if symptoms persist go to a doctor especializing in internal medicine!!!

if you have not bruised your self in some way perhaps its gas? if you continue to experience it go see a doctor, we here can only guess. ;) H

it could be appendicitis
