convert atheists by taking their view of things and finding flaws in it as Atheists do to us? Is it because most of you guys don't understand Atheism to begin with? Don't you guys know that the whole 'your going hell thing' and 'I'll pray that god helps you.' can't work because they 'believe' that if he existed no1 can get into heaven and that god never heals praying christian amputees?

This link below sums up a good amount of the argument and I believe if us christians gained an understanding they could make a much better argument of their own.

Why not at least try to 'see down' on an Atheists 'distorted' views so you can save them from their eternal suffering? I'm sure god would be overjoyed you are trying to learn an atheists viewpoints so you can manipulate their 'brainwashed' way of thinking that the devil has influenced them into.

May all the 'lost' souls find jesus...Amen.

What exactly do you mean by "us Christians?" With the questions you ask, I find it difficult to believe that you are a brother in Christ.

If Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc. have all the answers, why on earth would you argue in the first place? I thought that all you needed to do was to present your faith and let people decide yes or no based on their own convictions and or degree of belief. Why do you want to argue who is right or wrong? Surely these things will come out in the wash regardless of what we do or think. Oh and by the way thanks for the prayer, but ponder this..........who decides who is lost or found? What person on this planet has the right to judge the condition of another? What standard do all you religious ones follow? If you're going to talk the talk, you'd better be able to walk the walk, if not then don't open your pie holes in the first place. We'd all be better off with less arguing and more tolerance. Also to all you atheists out there the same thing applies........you can't force people to believe as you do so why try? Lastly remember what Lucifer said when he was cast out from heaven"I would rather rule in hell than serve in heaven". And that quite sums up how I feel on this whole tiresome subject.

Dude talk about being brainwashed did you actually read what you just wrote or were you sucking on the biggest reefer of all time and just type the most ridiculous argument that came to your peeuuuny god bothering mind, don't get me wrong dude I have belief in higher beings but man what you are talking about is to instill your own method of forced brainwashing on people whom god has given the gift of self choice ie man shall make his own decisions and be held accountable for them at the time of judgement, I have spoken of this issue with a friend whom is a catholic priest and he tells me that god will not judge till you stand before him so in my mind one can be an atheist on this world and pass to the next stand in front of the lord and proclaim your belief and ask for forgiveness, this is the only way to stop a lot of wrong doing just lets all get on with each other and accept that we are all different after all that is one of the greatest things god bestowed on us after life and love "INDIVIDUALISM".
Have a nice day dude from TrOpPo.

Many people may not have the understanding or have reached the level that you at. Good for you. However, God took the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and furthermore, we need to tell them with love whether they hear or forbare, because the Holy Spirit is the One who does the conversion, no man can do that. Paul said I become many so that I can win one to Christ. So for me to win an atheist to Christ I have to become one - meaning I have to know and understand their thinking and belief. Nothing is wrong with that. For Jesus to redeem man, He couldn't come like God, He had to be born like man, become man, live and eat like man to purchase man back to God. Jesus drank and ate with sinners - the worst of the worst; not even the sinners wanted to hang around the sinners that Jesus befriend; like Matthew the tax collector and Zacchius the midgit, He was criticized and scorned for it. I am friends with many unbelievers and I never mentioned a word of my religion to them, just lived the life, many of them are saved today - not because I hammered them, but because they saw in me, something that they wanted. We cannot look for flaws in a lie, it's already flawed, but we could shine a light into the darkness. Jesus didn't convert everyone He spoke to, not even His disciples understood all His teaching until He was resurrected and after the Holy Spirit had come. Love, be bless.

The link didn't work, but I get what your saying and I agree with you. The challenge we run into is that they often believe in a subjective truth. So the rules and logic that they insist on applying in one situation is exactly what they insist on setting aside in the next situation. Matters of science are a prime example. The theories of evolution, and the big bang can be defeated by science. When science offers evidence supporting their belief they say it is iron clad. Yet when science offers evidence that disputes evolution they ignore it.

The link didn't work, sorry. Your beliefs are simple and it's not a hard concept to grasp. You don't believe in God, heaven, hell and all that. Hooray for you.

As for the amputees, God doesn't heal alot of people...

The site's info is based on the beliefs of fundamentalist Christians....I'm not, and disagree with the supposed "christian" beliefs it states and uses against the religion. So that argument isn't full proof either.

Sir, didn't I see you siding with the atheists just a day or so ago?

Well, I truly hope you are sincere in being a Christian!

I think instead of pointing out all the "wrongs" in non-belief or belief in other religions, it is better to listen...and then tell them the great things about Christianity.

Stay away from "negative" and look for positive.

Paul said (I think in Acts) "I think myself happy." Even when the negative is everywhere...our attitude will make a tremendous difference.

We (Christians) are no better (or worse) than anyone else. We are all servants of the living God.

this would probally work very well. but you would have to approach it form a compleatly scientific standpoint.
any faith, or faith based studies of christian scientists would be easily discredited to an athiest.

and after that you would still have us Pagans to convert, and with us it would be much harder. because we already believe in gods, but most of us do not worship the Christian god because we see him and his religion as being of low moral character.

Actually your question doesn't deserve an answer. But you probably have received several of them. There is no brainwashing in the Bible. Any brainwashing that is done is by mean spirited individuals who want to destort the Bible truths.

US? You asked, " Christians why should I believe in Christianity...?" I'm not interested in converting atheists. If God wants them, they'll come. Other than that, all we can do is point to what's left when one rejects God.
