i heard that Heineken is made in holland but originally it is German.

You are correct on both counts.
Heinekin is a Dutch (Holland) based company. The product they are most famous for is a German Pilsner style beer. It is 10% pilsner malt and "Noble" German Hops. It is lagered in the same manner as any pilsner.
Pilsner is the most popular beer style made in the world, and it originated in Plzn Czechoslovakia around 1840.

The Heineken family entered the beer business in 1864, when Gerard Adriaan Heineken bought a brewery in the heart of Amsterdam, Holland.

HEINEKEN's origin is Holland, I think Amsterdam's center actually. But BEER's origin is definitely German.

The Netherlands my friend (aka Holland). If you ever go to Amsterdam you can have a tour of the factory - free beer included! The workers may not be too happy though, recently the company has restricted their employee rights. They are now only allowed to drink beer for free during lunch breaks instead of all the time. How unfair!

I'm not sure about where it originally came, but it's definately in Amsterdam now. I got to visit the brewery last summer! Fun trip, fun trip.
